Business Engagement & Data SME Support
• Understand business logics and processes as they relate to the systems and their impact on data meaning and use
• Translating high-level business requirements into logical business dimensional model
• Strong familiar with data and its use within the business environment
• Expose to incubation, validation & analytics for business strategy driven initiates
• Communicate with Biz SMEs (Reporting Specialist/Analysts) to enable, conduct development of a specific project using Vulcan in Detego Sandbox
Data Architecture Design & Implementation in Sandbox (SSIS/SSAS/Vulcan components)
• Designs overall Conceptual and Logical Model, Attribute and Entity Definitions
• Designs data warehouse Data Extract & Data Transform processes
• Owns the process for capturing, maintaining, metadata
• Builds and maintains code to populate the data warehouse with data loaded from global production databases.
• Performs all necessary data transformations to populate data into warehouse table structure that is optimized for reporting.
• Quickly assesses the impact of production system changes to existing analytics and implement changes to the warehouse ETL and reporting code to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
• Prototypes new business logic in Sandbox
• Deploys and executes packages in Sandbox
• By working with Detego BEM, prepares for transiting Sandbox logic to Detego for long-term use
1. Data Quality Auditing & Control in Sandbox
• Provides continuous monitoring and auditing of data use—including before and after values of data changes, which are critical to assessment and correction
• Captures the permanent, unimpeachable audit trail of database activity
• Resolves Data Quality issue by working with the source System support team
• Operates & maintains Data Quality certification process to ensure only the certified accurate data/reports delivered to business
