Position 1: Advanced Analytics Developer   
  
Job Description
We are looking for a senior developer to join our analytics team for big data analysis research and development.
Specific duties include:
·       Design and develop text analysis, data mining technologies and products in distributed environment.
·       Investigate the new technology trend in big data analysis.
·       Write documentation to accurately describe feature specifications and designs.
·       Implement high-quality code according to design documents.
·       Produce test cases, execute unit tests, and perform general system Integration testing.
Requirements (Must Have)
·       Experience in natural language processing, Machine Learning, Statistical Analyses and Data mining.
·       3+ years of software development experience in Java/C/C++ is a must.
·       Master Degree or above in Computer Science or related fields.
·       Strong teamwork orientation.   
·       Ability to grasp new technologies quickly; ability to think outside of the box.
·       Good written and oral communication skills.
·       Fluent oral English.
Requirements (Nice to Have)
·       Experience in distributed computation is a great plus.
·       Familiar with Map/Reduce is a great plus.   
·       Experience in database kernel is a plus
  



Position 2: Big data analytics Test Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a big data analytics test engineer to join our team for Teradata Aster Data product quality assurance.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:
·       Design and develop test framework, test plan and test cases for Aster Data SQL Map/Reduce and advanced analytics functions platform.
·       Implement and execute functional, stress and performance test cases.
·       Investigate, identify and analyze functional or performance issues.
·       Develop automation test scripts for features which manage, distribute and monitor computation across large clusters.
·       Develop and improve performance test framework.
·       Interact with developer and Aster partners in feature design and simulate customer scenarios which help validate the product.

Requirements (Must Have)
·       2+ years’ development or testing experience in database kernel and SQL.
·       1+ years’ research or development experience in natural language processing, machine learning, statistical analyses or data mining.
·       2+ years’ development experience in programming language C++/Java or scripting language Python/Perl/Shell development.
·       Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to details.
·       Good interpersonal, written and oral communication English skills.
·       BS degree or above in computer science, computer engineering or related fields.

Requirements (Nice to Have)
·       Familiar with database kernel components is a big plus.
·       Familiar with Map/Reduce and experience in distributed computation is a big plus.
·       Familiarity with SQL standard is a plus.
