The Position:

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide data delivery specifications and annotated data collection form to   data management group based on Roche biometrics standard data model structure

Develop SAS programs to generate analysis outputs as specified in the statistical analysis plan and mock up table shells

Perform data and program validation to ensure the quality of deliverables meet internal standards

Provide programming related documents in English
Provide training for using standard software and following statistical programming standards

Provide technical support in trouble shooting on usage of statistical software, operation system and Roche internal safety reporting system

Qualification and Experience:
Be able to use Statistical Analysis Software (SAS).

Education: BS or MS in Medical, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related areas.

Relevant working experience: Working experience in medical field, biostatistics or Clinical Trials preferred, but not required.

Language: Be able to communicate effectively in both writing and speaking English
Communicates clearly and effectively in document writing, oral presentations and at meetings as required

Computer skill: Experience in SAS programming.  knowledge of UNIX, S-plus, SQL, VB, C++ or other programming languages is a plus

Other skills and/or competence:
Be able to self-motivate and take initiative
Be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with team members
Be able to take cultural and value differences into account in dealings with others
Be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and to solve problem efficiently
Be willing to take challenge and responsibility for assigned tasks.
