[u:304ohlda]Position Summary[/u:304ohlda]
The primary responsibility for the role is to help deliver on Digital engagements (analytics, marketing, operational) for our clients primarily across Life Sciences industry (and potentially Retail / CPG as well). The person is also expected to contribute towards building thought capital and conducting value chain analysis for digital sales & marketing in the industry.
The person should be able to manage digital projects end-to-end and consult clients on various digital aspects (increase web traffic, increase online conversion, reduce online marketing costs, etc.). The person should also be able to consult on online and offline data management, web analytics tool implementation and usage, SEO / SEM, design and execution of digital marketing campaigns, website optimization / customization, and BI reporting.
Resourceful, creative and motivated individual. The successful candidate will have strong project management, consultative and business skills in addition to digital ability, as well as also be exposed to the challenges of using analytics in a digital business setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to solution and manage digital projects (marketing, analytics, operational)
• Act as SPOC for client PM for all aspects of digital project management and delivery
• Work in collaboration with the client PM to
o partner with client teams to understand business problems and marketing strategies
o gather business requirements from multiple sources i.e. product managers, development teams, and functional group members
o engage the client teams and their agency(ies) and agree on the digital marketing plan and tactics, layouts, required modifications, specifications, technical requirements, etc.
o Receive all assets, data, files and technical details developed by the client / agencies
• Support UAT with client teams and support the client PM in coordinating the approval process
• Develop and articulate recommendations based on rigorous analysis / assessment
• Perform root cause analysis of digital performance issues and drive resolution by partnering with cross-functional teams and track the success of corrective actions taken to resolve issues
• Analyze digital data using statistical models, reports and quantitative ad-hoc analysis to develop actionable recommendations
• Manage a team of digital / analytics / technical resources to ensure that deliverables are met with quality and in a timely manner
• Drive creation of value offerings
• Onsite support may be required depending upon business requirements
Requirements
• 6+ years of overall experience, with majority in digital marketing / management.
• Require an engineering or sciences background. Post Graduate. MBA preferred.
• Digital analytics, project / program management and client consulting experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources. Knowledge of multiple languages preferred.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (Omniture SiteCatalyst, Web-Trends, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Proficiency in SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and experience in measuring success of SEM and SEO campaigns / efforts
• Basic understanding of statistics
• Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
