Job Requires:
1.Language skill: Proficient in oral and written English: English Test Scores passing CET-6.
2.Degree: a Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Computer Sciences or related quantitative science degree.
3.Other requirements : Statistical knowledge includes understanding of multivariate statistics, sampling methods, regression and forecasting. Applied experience with SAS (Base, STAT, Macro, SQL, etc.) on MVS, PC and/or UNIX, SPSS or a structured programming language is required. Must be proficient in MS Office, such as Word, Excel, PPT, Access, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
1.This position will reside in the IMS China Beijing office. Provide expertise in analytic methodologies to assigned projects for IMS US Statistical Studies and provide ongoing analytic support for existing US Pharmaceutical Market Research Studies, with focus on Production Support activities.
2.Under supervision, provides statistical methodology support in the delivery of standard and custom studies.
3.Performs regular statistical analysis/programming activities independently, and supports complex activities by applying proper statistical methodologies in project situations under guidance and coaching.
4.Supports ongoing research tasks, client proposals, ad-hoc client requests, and complex data investigations.
5.Translates client business needs into requirements on analytic work; conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study and prepare written summaries or reports of study results.
6.Be able to interpret data and draw conclusions independently, for validation by supervisor.
7.Assists other statisticians in preparing analysis plans and statistical reports and performs validation of statistical analysis.
8.Works on projects of moderate scope within defined procedures and practices.
